Exploring the Effects of Climate on Mexico's Coastline

About

Climate change is affecting far away places like the Arctic and tropical islands. But what is happening in coastal Mexico? And how are people responding? The Voyage of Kiri is traveling the Pacific coast from April to August exploring issues of climate adaptation and the solutions of sustainable design. From September to March, we will be visiting a few other places, and writing a book about the voyage.

Who is doing the voyage?
Kristian Beadle is 29 years old and loves the coast. This year, he is a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar in Huatulco, Oaxaca. He recently graduated from the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management with a focus in sustainable tourism in Mexico. He grew up in Brazil, speaks five languages, and likes to sail aboard his trimaran. Check out his LinkedIn profile here.
